Happy New Year everyone. I've been working on the US side for a while, but am back to crawling the CCA images again. I read the referenced record (No. 47, lower right), as Antonio Correia de Melo son of Antonio Correia de Melo, Senior and Violente Augusta Solidade. I am having a lot of trouble thinking "Violente" is the correct first name of the mother. Is this the correct transcription?
