Genealogy Day - Saturday, February 7th - Sacramento

Portuguese Historical and Cultural Society of Sacramento (PHCS) is
excited to announce a genealogy event for anyone interested in
Portuguese genealogy.

Speakers: Mary Ann Marshall - PHCS president
and me, Doug da Rocha Holmes - PHCS board member & professional genealogist

Mary Ann plans to speak on basic genealogy research for about 20 minutes
I will speak the rest of the time on using DNA testing to help with
your genealogy research, and take questions on anything else related to
Portuguese genealogy.
Price: FREE
The price is nothing
because it's a public library and we can't charge, so instead we will be
accepting donations that 100% will go towards PHCS activities of the
future.
Room capacity is about 75, and since it's free, it could easily fill up.
Please let me and/or Mary Ann Marshall know if you plan to come and how many will be in your party.
