I have searched the Matriz de Estrela records again to make sure I did not miss the record. I believe this is the correct record (maybe the priest had too much vino that day). There is one other Escolastica Maria who died in 1842, but the husbands name is not correct. I also checked the records of the surrounding villages for the same time frame found nothing.
