(Cross posted to Azores, Madeira, and Island Routes lists) We are about 2.5 weeks away from the hotel deadline of March 6th. The hotel has set 25 rooms aside for us. Once they are gone, they will not add more. That means you may still be able to get a room, but it won't be the "Stay 3 nights, Get the 4th free" special. You'll get the regular group rate of around $89 a night (plus taxes and all that stuff. I'm not complete sure of the $89 a night. The sales manager was out when I called to confirm the regular group rate).
The conference will be held at the Salt Lake Plaza hotel. Even though I'm calling this the Azores Genealogy Conference and Research Trip, we will of course take people researching anything Portuguese.
