Cheri, Adding to what you said, once in a great while, you will see a ships passenger list naming Flores as the port of origin with Boston or New Bedford as the destination. Do you know what was happening there? Was Flores a stop to pick up passengers by a ship originating at one of the other 3 Azores ports of embarcation? I wonder if Joao Ventura might know.
