Brenda, you don't say which Island you are doing your research. If you are searching Pico or Faial, there is another site: www.ghp.ics.uminho.pt. When the page loads, click on genealogies (left side of ribbon) the next page will give you the different concelhos of Pico and Faial and ONE village on Sao Jorge: Ribeira Seca. You can click on the village you are interested in and when the search page loads, click on the British flag for English.
