My great-great grandparents from Agua Retorta were Emilia Rosa de Medeiros (b. 1846) and her husband Manuel Bernardo Teixeira (b. 1831) also from Agua Retorta.
Emilia Rosa was the daughter of Manuel Furtado from Nordestinho and Felicianna de Medeiros Sardinha from Agua Retorta. Manuel was the son of Manuel Furtado and Rosa de Medeiros. Felicianna was the daughter of Manuel Furtado Sardinha and Maria de Medeiros Barbosa.
