In Canto's marriage index for Achada (although this entry was written by Rodrigo Rodrigues) it says something about the bride's parents, I think: 22 Oct 1695 Manoel Furtado, son of Manoel Furtado, deceased, and Maria Rezendes married the bride, Izabel de Simas, daughter of Domingos de Simas and Maria da Roia, both deceased.
