Eliseu and Hermano,

There’s a mistake in RR’s book.

Cap. 152º, §13º, N. 7 – they skipped one generation.

Cosme de Viveiros is the grandson of Maria Travassos and Sebastião de
Oliveira, not the son.

His parents are alferes Manuel de Viveiros [Benevides] and Maria Moreira.

Data for Cosme de Viveiros, in Capelas:

Baptism, b. 20 nov 1721 - CCA #78. Padrinhos: Manuel Botelho da Costa,
viúvo, e Maria Travassos de Oliveira, filha de Sebastião da Costa, já
falecido, irmã do pai do batizado.

Marriage, 27 dec 1749 - CCA #92 - CM #321. Os contraentes foram dispensados
em quarto grau de consanguinidade. - [CM: Carlos Machado in the CCA site.
The information in CM is correct]

Cosme de Viveiros is my ancestor through the line of my paternal
grandmother Leonira Cosme de Viveiros.

Manoel César Furtado
