Hi Paul, Yes, it was me that posted about Miguel do Monte. Thanks to collaboration between the folks here we were able to straighten out the confused lines of Miguel do Monte I and his son, Miguel do Monte II.
This is what I have Anna do Monte was the daughter of Miguel do Monte and his second wife, Maria da Costa. Miguel do Monte is from Achadinha (though I don't have a baptismal to confirm). Maria da Costa was from Sao Pedro, Ribeira Grande. They were married 5 Nov 1725 in Achada. I don't have a birth date for Anna do Monte as yet. Maybe someone else has that? She is the only child I did not find a baptismal for. I connect to his son, Miguel do Monte II. Father and son had wives with the same name (Teresa Furtado) If you are interested in this line, contact me.
