Hello group: I am trying to find my 6th great grandmother Izabel de Resendes first marriage record. Her husband Antonio de Medeiros Mello died on 16 Nov 1730 in Maia, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel (not to be confused with Lomba da Maia). His obito is the only record that I have that he existed. According to Izabel's second marriage and her children's baptism records she is from Achada, Nordeste. I have searched all the Achada, Achadinha and Nordestinho records for her baptism and marriage. No luck finding them. I did discover there is a 4-5 year gap in the casamento records for Achada. I even checked the Maia casamentos, same results. Someone on a FaceBook group suggested looking for their children. Searched the Achada, Achadinha, Nordestinho, and Maia records. Nothing.
