Hi George, I'm not sure where the Serpa came from originally, my gg grandmother Ana Isabel de Serpa's father was Jose Caetano Da Fonte and her grandfather was Jose Caetano Da Fonte, and her great grandfather was Manuel da Fonte dos Reis Ana married Manuel Garcia Serpa so I'm not sure if the Serpa came from him or not.
