I have gotten pretty efficient at researching American records and directories, but I am only the first generation born in the states. The marriage Index I referred to isn't through Tombo - I saw it's link in one of the posts here in this group. I just didn't know if there were other indices, as well. I am enjoying what I'm learning but am frustrated by what I don't know. I live a little more than an hour from SLC, UT due to my husband's job and was able to go to the Genealogy Library for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I am sad to say that already I knew more about researching Azores lineage than they did.
