Thank you Margaret. That's a better guess than anything I was coming up with. I don't understand the math scratch paper in the margin because this is not a baptism where these computations are usually found. I'm not sure that he died in 1751 as that would have been his 79th wedding anniversary. I did look through Porto Judeu baptisms from 1643 to about 1654 for a Simão to see if I could get a different look at his father's name but came up empty. Thanks again.
