Hello Manita. They don't exist because they didn't survive. You are talking
pre-1600's. The fact is we are fortunate to find anything before 1700. The
information in RR and others was gleaned from wills, inventories, and other
such civil records from the registrars. I believe RR did cite those. Not
sure if the Registrar books are online or not. I have never seen them. You
have to appreciate many fine native Sao Miguel scholars and genealogists
have gone before us, so it is not likely you will find anything more than
what they have published and what RR, Canto, Carlos Machado and other
lesser known scholars have found. Some of those original sources have also
disappeared or decayed beyond legibility. Sometimes there is disagreement
on old lines, but you have to be able to read the original sources and cite
them to even know the difference. This is not likely unless you are a
scholar in the Azores. Not to dissuade you, but perhaps you should contact
someone on Sao Miguel who is an expert in Genealogy if you are serious
about doing this kind of work. If I knew of any, I would forward their
names. Perhaps someone reading can help you with that. For me, I accept the
published findings of those scholars, give or take a few errors.

Best of luck on your search,

JR
