Hi Liz,

This is what I see:

margin:
Ant.o Sylvr.a
casado com
Ma. Roza

Em os seis dias do mes da Septembro de mil ouato centos e vinte hum
faleceo da vida prezent Ant.o Silv.ra [calcantar??] cazado com M.a
Roza m.or nesta frg.a sendo deidade decenta annos [???? ????] Test.e
[???] sepultada no Corpo da Igr.a. [...closing lines attesting to the truth
of the priest's statement]

This is the death record for Antonio Silveira, married to Maria Roza.

"On the sixth of September of 1821
died of this present life Antonio Silveira [Calcantar?? name or trade?],
married to Maria
Roza, resident of this parish, being of the age of [seventy??] years [did
or did not leave a will??],
entombed in the body of the church..."

So, Maria Rosa is still living, otherwise Antonio would be called a
widow/viuvo.

I don't know whether the word following Silveira is a second last name or
whether it might be his trade/occupation.

I'm sorry I can't fully interpret the record for you, but perhaps that's
enough to answer your questions.

best wishes,

Linda
