Helen, you also have a *great* Genealogy Society in Los Banos. There are many of the members who are researching the Azores and can help you with your research. I don't have the exact address but I know that Betty Bettencourt has the Society's library at her house. Just google Los Banos Genealogy Society and something should show up about them.
