Howard P, Without the date, we don't know which way to point you. Before 1910 or so, they are online at the CCA site. Access it through tombo.pt/en (much easier to navigate).
Between 1910-1915 or so, the records from Magdalena, Pico are in the archives in Angra on Terceira. After 1915, the records are at the Civil Registry of Magdalena.
