Hi Dee,

I think you are probably right.  If you look at the bottom of the box for 
the couple I think you're asking about (2nd column, 3rd box down), it says 
"def 6" ["de folio 6", I assume] .  If you then go to image 7 which is page 
6 in the notebook, it is a genealogy for the the wife's side.  Your couple 
is included in a box just above the box numbered 13 (and the number refers 
back to the husband's page].   It looks like her father was "Espinola", and 
certainly her uncle was.  

The founder/s of the line is at the bottom of the page, and the chart reads 
up from that.
