I don't think the GTZ is correct, its probably just a stroke through the GLZ making look like a t. I find it curious that they would want to abbreviate a short name like Pires. Causes a lot of confusion when compared to other short forms in script, like Miz-Mtz, Glz-Ctz, Alz-Atz. They may look obvious in typeset, but not in script.
