Thanks, Cheri, for the possible lead. In 2009 when I spent a week at the archives in Ponta Delgada, I look in Agua do Pau and all the villages that surround Lomba da Santa Barbara thinking the same thing you mention. I did not find any lead I could follow. Celeste Perry [email protected]
