Hi JR,
Very interesting, except according to the naturalization papers for
Antonio, he and Maria were married in New Bedford, MA on June 12, 1911. It
also lists Maria as being born in 1891, though the headstone in New Bedford
says 1890, so it seems a bit of an inconsistency, although since he was
filling it out, he could have gotten some information wrong. I did not
find a marriage certificate at city hall, so was going to go to the MA
vital records to see what I could find there.
Interesting regarding Jose - I did find Anna Maria, so happened upon
the right Ana, though I can see how confusing it can get!
I'm now digging through the passport information to see if I can find
the right info - depending on the calligraphy handwriting, it can be hard
to interpret. It's definitely an interesting process looking, though!
