My oh my what a response I wish I got that response for other family I've been searching for years. lol So over the weekend I was talking with my 1st cousin once removed (my mom's 2nd cousin) Oldest one still alive and asked if I could DNA test him. So I ordered family finder and we'll see. BUT!!! I asked him where his father came from (it's his mother that's my grandmother's sister) He said Santa Maria Cabral. He said when he went there he visited the church and the priest at the time showed him the books and said that they (his ancestors) were the only Cabral's from there. He figures or figured there were no more in his line. (lol little did he know). So while I'm waiting for the test I thought I would ask for him. I don't see Santa Maria in the citcem page so is there another way I can look him up? Philomen Cabral was born July 2, 1895 supposedly but I don't know what church. I'm sure when his family finder comes back you all will see the connection of there are any. They all lived in New Bedford Ma. and 2 still there or Dartmouth. I will keep these emails for future reference.
