(Cross posted to Azores, Madeira, and IslandRoutes lists) Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) permanently reduced the price of their Family Finder test. The regular price is now $79 USD (+$12.95 S&H - includes return postage if you live in the U.S.). AncestryDNA is $99 and 23andMe is $149 (+ their company's S&H).
I'm guessing the manufacturer of the chip must have dropped their price and the savings are being passed on to us. Way to go, FTDNA!!
