Fathers and sons could--and often did-- have different last names.  Here's

As for the name in the photo you posted, I think that it may be Antonio de 
Souza Netto ... and then it does look like "Adam" but that seems 
unlikely... perhaps someone else can suggest something better?

The groom was 19, and the bride 26, and IIRC both were born in the same 
freguesia, so you should be able to find their baptisms fairly easily.
