Other sources of DNA - hair, teeth, envelopes, stamps....they are technically possible to extract DNA, however the success rate if so low that FTDNA won't do it. They've tried in the past (years and years ago). They just created disappointment :( Why did you want to test your brother with Ancestry? Why not you or other siblings?
