Sorry about that. I got into explaining the screen shot and then didn't tell anyone how to make it work.
Method 1: 1) Upload your Gedcom back about 10 generations. Include everybody for those 10 generations (or whatever you have. Something is better than nothing). 2) After the Gedcom is uploaded, click the DNA MATCHES button in the upper left corner. 3) Search for your match name in your tree (top center search box) 4) Click and drag the person from the Match list to the tree. 5) Pick "Self" You will have to give the system a few minutes to run it through. Most of us don't have our entire tree including all those collateral lines. I suggest you redo your Gedcom. Method 2 is tedious. Method 2: 1) Look at your match's page and find the common ancestor. 2) Manually add the matches lineage to your tree using the FTDNA cumbersome method. (Much easier to make it do the Parental Matching if you do a 1st cousin on each side of your family to start. Method 3: 1) Look at your match's page and find the common ancestor. 2) Add them into your genealogy software or ask them to Gedcom their lineage over to you. 3) Upload a new Gedcom. There are problems though. If you match Wilma Flintstone on your match list, she's most likely Wilma Slaghoople in the genealogy, as that is her maiden name. You'd have to search for Wilma only and wade through all of them. Not a problem if it really was Wilma. Ours are Maria. And that middle name field is creating havoc for us. How many Maria de Jesus' do we have in our trees? Searching for her will pull up way too many. I tried to get the tree guy to understand. I really did. I think he's too new to the company. I'll just have to keep trying.
