Bride: Margarida de Medeiros daughter of Miguel de Rezendes (Resendes),
deaceased, and Maria de Oliveira.

Both Baptised in the parish of N Senhora dos Anjos

Marriage date: 04-Jan-1753

The Y usage was an early form of writing, influence of the latin and
spanish.  Older priest used it for as long as they could for it was what
they new.  This letter in the alphabet has the same sound as the (i)
phonetically "e" in the Eng.
