I have done all the ships manifest on Ellis Island and Boston and did the
Atlantic ports where i found my Grandfather Francico's manifest coming into
New Bedford in 1907 and others that came into Providence and everything
that you mention as far as records here in the USA. I have all the original
records copied from NARA in Washington on all their Naturalization's. I
have done it all since the year 2000 when i got the first Family tree. I
just started researching the Azores records for the past three months and
have had them translated by George Pacheco who is also does Genealogy..I
started with myself and work out just like all of you. This has been my
first big problem but i will find her,and maybe the most logical way is to
try and see if i can find a marriage for her parents, for that could give me
a time line for Anna's birth.
