Hi Deb, Well, I don't really know if I will be covering something different than Joao! I will be talking first about what is available to us--The CCA, CITCEM site, Portuguese newspapers. Then I will be showing examples and talking about what words and phrases we need to be looking for in the documents. I come at the research from someone who doesn't know Portuguese and what we need to learn to be able to read the records. Joao comes into the classes already knowing the Portuguese! You may have been doing your research long enough that you already know how to read the docements. Hope to see you there even though you may not be attending my classes! Please come up and introduce yourself if you don't plan on attending mine!
