I agree with the name although I feel that it clearly shows his name as Serp
*e* even though the name is normally Serp*a*.  I wonder if Serpe was a less 
than common name or that the scribe just couldn't spell the name 
correctly.  This type of recording is a real puzzler as how to document the 
name.???  Your call - have fun!!!
