The brides maternal grandparent according to her baptism are the same as the groom's parents, Jose da Souza Nunes and Maria Caetana do Canto. I think this confirms what I wrote in my last post and that the groom is the bride's maternal uncle (Manuel married Maria Caetano do Canto de Meneses, who is daughter of his sister also named Maria Caetano do Canto de Meneses.
