Thank you Cheri that is what i thought and i am not looking for a John Mello. I have found all my relatives by going to Lagoa St Michaels Santa Cruz now they are spreading out to different parishes and all those are still located on the same island. I have located 19 records so far consisting of Baptizem's, Deaths ,and Marriages downloaded them to my files , translated them. I found all of them by going through every single record one by one there based on the years that i figured they would be from the information that the priest wrote assuming he was correct now i have 5 or six more that should be in a particular parish but aren't .
