You could call the main office and see if they have contact info for the council that was located where your ancestor lived. I have a hunch each of the councils were not organized with what they did with their membership rosters. I am just guessing from my experience with #84. I took 84 membership book and their minutes to Salt Lake City and had them microfilmed some years back.
