You didn't state a time period, but I'm guessing you are back in the time
period where they used to use feminine form of names. Simao/Simoa,
Pacheco/Pacheca, Velho/Velha.

I'd enter it in the proper form (Simao or Simão) and note that it was
recorded as Simoa.
