Hi, I have been contacting the registry in Madalena about two death records post 1911. The person I am in contact with said they can't send email copies of scanned records, but won't explain why. I find this strange because when I was in contact with Faial they had no problem sending me email copies of records post 1911. The only time they said they couldn't was if the record had yet to be digitized, but that they would send it over once it is.
I will not be traveling to Pico or the consulate at any point in the near future and want to know if there is another way to find a digitized record after 1911. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
