Kathy, You need to join the Azores DNA Project on FTDNA. The join instructions are below.
The CRS is for mtDNA. Most people don't worry about the CRS versus the rCRS. Today they now use the RSRS (published 5 years ago). You really don't need to worry about this, as you are interested mostly in your matches. Also since FTDNA is the only company that tests for Y and mtDNA, it seems no one uploads to YSearch.org or MitoSearch.org anymore. You are welcome to search them for people who have uploaded in the past, but with mtDNA, they have probably uploaded the rCRS numbers and not the RSRS numbers. Join the Azores project first and let me look over your results. Here are the join instructions: Log into the FTDNA page with the kit number and password. Across the top is says: myFTDNA, DNA Tests, Projects....Point at Projects. When the drop down menu appears, click "Join a project." If the Azores Islands appears on the top, click the link and scroll down to the JOIN button at the end. If the Azores Islands is not suggested, scroll down to where it says "Search by Surname" and type: azores. When Azores Islands appears, click the link follow the directions. When it asks you about your ancestry, you can just say "Cheri told me to."
