I'm looking for descendants of Antonio da Costa (s/o Manuel Furtado & Marianna da Trindade) who was born 1782 in Ponta Garca on Sao Miguel island and died in Ribeira Quente. He married Josefa de Jesus in 1808 in Ponta Garca. She was the daughter of Miguel do Amaral and Joana de Jesus de Mello Furtada. Josefa was born 1782 in Ponta Garca and died in 1856 in Ribeira Quente.
They had 7 known children. I have 2 of the girls living to adulthood and marrying. I have 3 of the boys living to adulthood and marrying, but it looks like only 2 of them had offspring. I'm looking for a strict line of male descent from this couple to DNA test. I'll be going to the conference this coming Friday. The Holiday sale will start shortly after and I want to be prepared!!
