Julzz, You need to read the Terms of Service of the online subscription sites VERY VERY carefully. Most online subscription sites are for personal use only. Also, many obituaries are copyrighted, so you would need permission from the newspaper before republishing, reposting, etc online. I'd consult with an intellectual property lawyer first. It's something like a $150,000 - $300,000 fine (in USD) if you are found to be in violation of copyright law. If you are the group owner and you allow copyright material to be posted, you are also at fault.
Many genealogy conferences are now offering classes on copyright law. See if there's one in your area. It's terribly sad, as it seems like every time we want to help someone, there's a lawyer and a law to prevent us from sharing. I thought you should know.
