Hi there, I am still fairly new to this researching but I do have many relatives from Oakland with the following surnames: Robello, Oliveira, Vargas, Perry, Silva, Tavares, and many others. From what I can tell I have familiy from Sao Miguel as well as Faial.
I would love to chat and find out more if possible. My Dad is the last Robello of his generation that we knew of until recently - I found a few Robello Uncles and Aunts he had no idea about!!
