Last night I found someone who may be my dad's 2nd cousin from a line that stayed on Sao Miguel. Someone that I had no way of finding except through DNA! And, yes, it's great to confirm your paper trail. I see people's trees where 2 full siblings (same mom and dad) have listed different grandparents with different birth dates!! Apparently, each did their own research and no one conferred with the other. DNA will let them fit their matches on their tree and one sibling will figure out the error as the matches aren't fitting!
