I’m traveling to São Miguel next weekend and wondering whether there is a way to determine where my great-grandparents (and their parents) lived from baptismal or marriage records? I know they were both from Fajã de Cima and emigrated from there in 1905, but not much more than that...
They both had surname Casquilho —their father’s we’re brothers—and had Pereira and Borges surnames on their mothers’ sides.
