I lean toward Doctor if he had meant “doutro” the letter D should not have been capitalized. The way to tell for sure would be to check other records in the time frame and see if his name is written as Doctor.

It was interesting that the last names were so similar to the last name of the parents: Marques and Marquita. Im still confused why does the priest write "filhos familiar" instead of just the word filhos? Any light on this would be appreciated.
