Mateus da Calheta (Terceira). His parents are Francisco Cordeiro de Miranda, native of Arrifes, Ponta Delgada, (S. Miguel); and Francisco Julia de Miranda and native of Calheta de Nesquim, Lajes (Pico) Ana Leonor, age 17, is native of Santa Barbara (Terceira) and a resident of this parish of Cinco Ribeiras. I don't really see her parents list. I only found one Anna baptized in 1870 in Santa Barbara and her legitimate daughter of Bento Ignacio de Souza and Maria Guilhermina Corvello. There is a Bento Ignacio Souza listed as the father on this Anna's baptism and the same name listed as a witness on Anna Leonor's marriage. That baptisms is here: http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-SANTABARBARA-B-1870-1879/TER-AH-SANTABARBARA-B-1870-1879_item1/P7.html Maybe I am reading something wrong as far a Anna Leonor's parents. Anyway, I hope this helps. Bill Seidler -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Azores Genealogy" group.
