Joao also did a lot of work for me. I plan to use him again for the Passport records. He is accurate, quick and is a great value. When you are first learning you can easily make mistakes. After receiving the information and digital copies of the records with English summary of the facts I went back and located the records for myself. I learned a lot this way and knew that I was not making a mistake. Now I’m beginning to feel a little more comfortable to work on my own (searching and translating). Still need a lot of help so I’m always asking for assistance here. I’m presently working on developing width in my tree (in other words siblings of my relatives or family groups). This helps me find the connection between my DNA matches (aka cousins). Good luck. The people you meet doing this are great people. They are so helpful. Doreen

The hardest part in my opinion is trading the handwriting from old records.
