New Bedford is part of the Fall River Diocese which is not being done.

The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) has been scanning these
documents for a while now, and members of that organization can access the
records through their site
https://www.americanancestors.org/search/databasesearch/2726/massachusetts-roman-catholic-archdiocese-of-boston-records-1789-1900.
You can search without being a member, but won't get to the detailed records -
not sure if the free guest membership will allow access, but people can
certainly try it.

I've been doing some digging there for the Irish half of my family, but have
been waiting for release of information from the Ned Bedford area to see what I
could find. i'm not sure what their model is for which records they scan,
though.
