I am wondering if anyone in the group is related to my MARTINS direct line: 6th great grandparents: Sebastio Martins (no birth/marriage/death dates or locations) and Maria de LIma (no birth/marriage/death dates or locations) 5th great grandparents: Francisco Martins (born 26 Oct. 1670; married 7 June 1696 in Se, Terceira; died before 1747) and Domingas do Nascimento, (born on ? in Piedade, Pico; died 23 Nov. 1707, Sao Pedro, Terceira.) Daughter of Manuel Gonsalves (born in Piedade, Pico; no marriage or death info) and Engracia do Porto (born in Piedade, Pico; no marriage or death info) 4th great grandparents: Francisco Martins (born 1700 in Sao Pedro, Terceira; married 30 July 1739 in Se, Terceira; died 6 April 1771 in Se, Terceira) and Ana Maria (born and died in Se, Terceira; dates unknown.) Note: Francisco also married Guiomar Felicia and Isabel de Jesus. 3rd great grandparents: Joao Francisco Martins (born 7 May 1761; married 8 Aug 1788 in Feteira, Faial; died 15 June 1818 in Feteira, Faial) and Maria Inacia (born 2 Feb 1761; death date unknown). 2nd great grandparents: Ana Inacia (born 28 Sept 1794 in Feteira, Faial; married 16 Feb 1827 in Feteira, Faial; died before 16 June 1868 in ? location) and Jose Francisco dos Ramos Martins (born 3 Aug. 1804 in Rosais, Sao Jorge; died 15 June 1868 in Feteira, Faial. Son of Incognito and Maria dos Ramos (born 3 April 1768 in Rosais, Sao Jorge; death unknown). 1st great grandparents: Jose Francisco Martins (born 8 April 1828 in Feteira, Faial; married 2 Dec 1871; died on ?) and Virginia Emilia (born 27 April 1844 in Sao Mateus, Pico; died 28 Jan 1927 in Feteira, Faial). Virginia is the daughter of Bento Pereira da Costa and Maria Antonia.Note: Jose also married Maria Felicia do Coracao de Jesus. Grandparents: Antonio Francisco Martins (born 15 Jan 1885 in Feteira, Faial; married 12 Jan 1908 in Oakland, Ca; died 31 Jan. 1935 in Oakland, CA) and Elysa/Elizabeth Abreu (born 15 Feb 1891 in Sao Martinho, Madeira; died 10 July 1959 in Los Gatos, Santa Clara County, CA).
