Hi Sam, The mother looks like Francisca dos Santos to me. I guess that your right about Valedão because I can't think of what else V.am could be (any suggestions?) I have several Valedão ancestors on Terceira bur I've never seen the abbreviation. I see the date 11 Mar 1790 as you do. I think the godparents are Manuel and Maria, children of Antonio de Freitas and his wife Maria de São Pedro. I do not see grandparents listed as they are usually not given during this earlier era.
