This is off the Ancestry track but I think it is important to share this information since we go to such lengths to be sure Portuguese and the Azores are included in DNA search sites. With your indulgence I want to alert you to how we as Portuguese and NOT Hispanic will be counted in the 2020 census.
The Portuguese-Americal Leadership Council of the United States has been successful in getting the Portuguese (including the Azores) I to be counted in the 2020 census.
