Cheri, the book did talk 😊 The record states the child was baptized in Madeira island in April but because the Santa Se parish rant out of the Holy oils, this part of the ceremony of baptism was performed in August in Furnas, where the couple also lived. The affluent did not stay stationary in one island. Wives did accompany husbands on many occasion. Cheers, Margaret
